NYT: Trying to kill print mags, he ends up starting one

The founder of CNET.com today tells the New York Times he used to talk about "how we were going to make magazines go away." Then he realized he was continuing to read dozens of magazines a month -- in print. Today, Halsey Minor is invested in a pair of print magazines that get their content from Web users. "I like holding them and turning the pages. And the images are better than on the Internet," he told the Times.
